In England alone there are over 9,000 parish councils. They are the tier of Local Government, which are closest to the people.

Kirk Langley has 6 parish councillors. We meet approximately every 6 weeks, usually on a Tuesday, in the Village Hall. Parish councils represent their community and the public are encouraged to attend parish council meetings. For more information, please contact the Clerk.
